One Thing

Welcome to One Thing!

We are a Christian, international, English-speaking community that gathers for One Thing, worshipping Jesus Christ.

Every Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. we gather to worship Him in prayer, word and deed.

Feel free to join us in fellowship as we come together to encourage each other to live out what Christ teaches us. Whether you have been in the Czech nation from birth, are studying here or are merely visiting, we invite you to encounter His presence, find purpose, and grow in your walk with Him.

We believe that encountering Jesus will radically transform lives unto the glory of God. For this reason, One Thing is a purpose-driven community, that actively seeks to encounter Jesus Christ towards radical personal transformation to progress the kingdom of God into the Czech Republic.

Inspired by five 'One Thing' statements found in scripture we worship Jesus, surrender our lives, serve Him and witness to those who don't know Him jet, all with the single goal to move forward in our Christian life.

Worship: Psalm 27:4 "The one thing I ask of the Lord, the thing I seek most, is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfection and meditating in his Temple."

Surrender: Mark 10:21 "Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. "There is still one thing you haven't done," he told him. "Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Service: Luke 10:42 "There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her."

Witness: John 9:25 "He answered and said, "Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see."

Moving Forward: Philippians 3:13b-14 "but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
